7 reasons why you should read a book

Greetings!

"A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, the man who never reads lives only one," said
George R.R. Martin, an American Writer, Produced, some of his famous work includes beauty and the beast, game of thrones, etc.

“In spite of living in an information era when google is available to fix any problem for free, purchased books are still leading the market,” says Bill Gates. “What may be the cause of this?.”

In the next seven points, I will explain why.

You've read two people's perspectives on reading.

These two are the most well-known figures in their respective fields.

These were some of the points of view, to be sure.

1. Improves imagining power
Inventing new things will be a myth without vision, according to Einstein.

Because of visual study applications, children's imagination capacity is now zero. It may have made the study easier, but it is also to blame for the reduction in imaginative power.

Reading books may greatly aid in the development of imaginative capacity. Reading books in the age of 3D and VR technologies could well be a thing of the past but it is not so. Technology can't take from us the love of books.

2. Provide you with knowledge
Non-fiction books will help you develop your knowledge, skills, and vocabulary, while fiction novels will help you enhance your creativity and vocabulary.

Researchers found out that the individuals who read at least seven to fifteen books each week are more productive and successful in life. They are the type of folks who will never be short of words under any circumstance.

3. Better Sleeps
As per doctors, book reading at night will improve your sleep schedule.

We should keep in mind that the book should be in a paper format not in pdf.

People mostly download pdf of books because it'll be cheaper but see the maths-

If you download the pdf, your screen time will increase which will lead to eye weakness or even worse

Case 1.
Eye test, 2 times a year costs around 2K to 5K + frames, and lens may cost 5K a year. If the situation is worse, then operation/surgery may cost 5k to 10K. So, your yearly expense may cost you to 15k to 20K Per year.

Case 2.
Cost of the book - Rs. 200 to 500.
Even if you read 2 books a month i.e. 24 books a year, the cost will be around (200-500×24) 4800 to 12K

You can easily see that
Clearly, we can see that case 2 will be less expensive.

Exception:- You can listen to audiobook though

4. Adaption to Change
According to Bill Gates, Microsoft cannot become great without his habit of reading books.

Books assist him in learning a great deal, more about recent market adjustments.

As a result, we may conclude that through books adaption to change becomes an easy, flexible, and simple process.

5. Overcoming depression
Our smartest, most loyal, and most knowledgeable friend is a book. If the book's information is carefully applied in life, we may be able to engage in previously unimagined activities. When a person is alone, he gets affected by depression and a person can never be alone with a book. This was said by a writer in a club show.

This is my personal experience too, reading books will help me to cope up during my anxiety period. When I found that it is hard for me to open up with others, I got the right space at the right time. That escape was reading. My first book was Gulliver's travels, then some stories of wizards and slowly I started off my journey with self-help books and autobiography

6. Improves memory
As per psychologists, the retention power of a child is reducing. A survey was conducted at British University, wherein they were asked to read a comprehension and solve the questions in 10min. 75% of the candidates who don't have reading habits weren't able to complete the paper.

Out of those who read books regularly, 95% were able to do the paper on time.

A deeper study was conducted which concluded that reading books will improve the memory and retention ability of a person.

7.Mental Wellness
When it comes to our physical health, we go to the gym or do a home workout. But what about our brain. Meditation isn't enough to cure all the mental issues.

To exercise our brain and eye, a person should read a book daily for 30 min.

You can reduce the time of social media or any bad habit to build a new habit and explore yourself

But the question arises, how to start off reading a book. This question emerges to me too. additionally, when I considered teaching the new understanding propensity.

The techniques which I have and I am rehearsing are-

1. Start with your favorite genre
Some of the genres are comedy,roms-comedy, suspense, self-help, action, and classic.
Out of this genre, my favorite genre is self-help books and autobiography.

Get started with reading books.

2. Summary of the book
Read the summary of the book. This will encourage you to read the whole book. But better than this will be my next method.

3. Stories in short
Read about the book in short.

Our blog will help you in telling the summary of the book for free. Sign in to be updated.

4. Easy book
Start with an easy but good book. It will interest you. The easy book doesn't need book should only have 100 pages. There is no term like easy books, easy or difficult is not dependent on your knowledge, your understanding of metaphors, your vocabulary, etc.

Your knowledge will increase with time.

Keep in mind-
You can build any habit in less than 21 days, never believe in this.

Building a good habit is a long-term process. To infuse with the habit of reading books, you need to read at least 5 to 6 books. More important than this is to start it off.

So start reading the books.
